Two Crime Writers And A Microphone

May 5, 2017

It’s where it’s at!

Steve Cavanagh and Luca Veste present a brand new podcast for readers and writers which will bring you the latest news in the book world, interviews with the best writers, agents, publicists, editors, and literary agents in the business. Also, each week we'll hear from some of the best book reviewers around, who'll give us their reads of the week.

This week, the guys discuss Luca's appearance at Newcastle Noir, an MP of dubious distinction, the complaints against a book prize for writers of colour, the usual lack of geography skills, new books, the Richard & Judy book club, and why Luca should stop mentioning movies he hasn't seen.

This week's reviewer is Noelle Holten from crimebookjunkie. She recommends Watching The Bodies by Graham Smith and My Sister and other Liars by Ruth Dugdall.

Star guest is author Mark Dawson. He talks about writing across numerous series, multiple books per year, self-publishing and using advertising to the best of its capabilities.

In the wrap-up, there's a special shout out to the fantastic writer John Rickards, who also runs an editing service!
